FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What is a DTF transfer?
DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are full-color heat transfers printed onto special film using professional inks and adhesive powder. The design is pressed onto garments using a heat press, creating vibrant, durable prints on many fabric types.
What is the minimum I can order?
There are no minimums! Order just one or as many as you like. This applies to all of our trasnfers.
Do I need special equipment to apply DTF transfers?
Yes — you will need a heat press for best results. A household iron is not recommended because consistent pressure and temperature are required for proper adhesion.
How durable are DTF transfers?
DTF transfers are highly durable when applied correctly. They are stretch-resistant, crack-resistant, and designed to withstand multiple washes without fading or peeling.
What file types do you accept for artwork?
Vector art is always preferred, raster art should be at least 300 dpi. Preferred file types: .AI, .PDF Accepted files types: .JPG, .PNG
Can you print full-color designs and gradients?
Yes! DTF transfers support unlimited colors, gradients, and detailed artwork without additional color setup fees.
What is a gang sheet?
A gang sheet is a single sheet that contains multiple designs arranged together. This helps maximize space and reduce printing costs.
How should I wash garments with DTF transfers?
- Wait 24 hours before washing
- Turn garment inside out
- Wash cold with mild detergent
- Avoid bleach
- Tumble dry low or hang dry
How fast is turnaround time?
Turnaround times vary depending on order volume and production schedule, but most orders are completed within 1–3 business days. Rush options may be available.
Can beginners use DTF transfers?
Absolutely. DTF transfers are beginner-friendly and ideal for small businesses, apparel brands, hobbyists, and print shops because no weeding or pretreatment is required.
